I sent it to Oprah's magazine but it seems that they didn’t give it to her as Gayle King got possession of it and offered it on TV to Ellen DeGeneres (Ellen's show). How come Gayle king offered the gift I sent to Oprah to Ellen and said it was from her.
Are all the gifts we send to Oprah regifted? I created a unique kaftan dress with a luxurious French silk fabric. The design with her beautiful dogs and flowers were carefully and meticulously embellished by hand with Swarovski chosen one by one to match the colors. It took more than 35 hours of meticulous work!
Before sending the dress, I checked with her personal assistant at her Magazine’s office to make sure that the dress would be given personally to Oprah.
The dress was sent along with letter expressing my admiration for her because we are watching her show from France. FedEx confirmed the delivery of the dress on March 22, 2018 from Miami with a signature. I flew back to France. Later, my clients contacted me and told me that my creation was seen at the Ellen's show. That Gayle King had offered it to Ellen one month after I shipped it. The package addressed to Oprah was stolen or opened by somebody else? How come Gayle king have that dress? This is shameful and a big scandal. I feel rather humiliated by the way my work was treated and furthermore that there was no respect for my personal clothing design of Victoria Luxury Silk. The appropriation of others' creations is a lack of respect for their work. Furthermore it is disappointing to see MY work given to somebody else and discover that the gift I offered to Oprah was given to Ellen DeGeneres. I knew how much Oprah loves her dogs, I just wanted to make her happy with a special unique gift. I did the same for Lisa Vanderpump with a silk scarf and Giggy emabellished with Swarovski. Lisa did call me to thank me personally. She does appreciate a gift from her audience and kindly lets them know. I send those types of gifts to people I really appreciate and to thank my faithful clients. I also work on special orders from clients that want their animals or kids imprinted on a scarf or dresses. How should I feel about this kind of behavior? Was it a treachery, a theft? Did Oprah know about this? This lady Gayle had no manners, offering it to someone else (Ellen) saying that my dress was “bought”, knowing it was a unique creation to Oprah. Did someone else open the package for Oprah? My work is not being respected. I just wonder what happens to the gifts being sent to Oprah. Does she get them? Are they offered to other people? What a shame! What about my letter? Was it thrown in the garbage? This whole situation shows a lack of good manners. Why did Gayle give my gift to Ellen? How did she get it? It is a very sad world of celebrities and I am very disappointed and angry about it.

My name is Victoria, I am a French designer in France. We used to see your show in France and we love it, I loved it and I discovered your dog, I thought he was so cute.
I have a deep love for animals and admire you for your work so I decided to customize one of my kaftan creations for you. I have done this gesture with other people that I admire as a gift.
I made this amazing Kaftan and I added pink flowers all around you and your dog with embedded Swarovski matching the colors of the print design. When I was living in Miami I sent it to you. I called your magazine, I talked to your assistant manager and even confirmed via email that they knew I was sending but I never heard back from the magazine or from you that you got it. I flew back to France and a client in the US contacted me and said that they had seen on TV that the creation I sent to Oprah was offered by Gayle King to Ellen de Generes show with a sarcastic comedy twist to it. The episode is published on YouTube and as I watched, I felt so humiliated and disrespected. How come that dress was taken from your magazine’s office to do a fun video mocking my work. This hand-made kaftan is customized work with crystals and it is so insulting to see my creation being worn by a guy running with it on a hallway and on top of this it was re-offered by Gayle King and she said it was her gift, that she bought it, that there were two of them but in fact, there is only one made by me for you and if she has two it is a copy of my work, because I am the only one who put those flowers. How come you didn’t get your gift? Is this where the gifts go when they are sent to your magazine to be re-gifted to people? I feel it is very disrespectful what happened to my dress and my gift to you.
I am curious what happens with the gifts that are sent to you and if they are all treated with this disrespect. I can understand you receive millions and cannot keep them all but what happened to mine is an insult to my work and to my kind gift gesture.
